JIN SHIN JYUTSU
What is Jin Shin Jyutsu:
Jin Shin Jyutsu, brings balance to the body’s energies. This in turn promotes health and well-being, and helps to aid our own healing capacity. It can be a valuable aid to conventional medicine and induces relaxation and reduces the effects of stress.
Jin Shin Jyutsu employs 26 “safety energy locks” along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. When these paths become blocked, the resulting lack of flow can in time disrupt the local area of flow and disharmonise the complete path of energy flow. Holding these energy locks in combination can help to bring balance to body, mind and spirit.
Jin Shin Jyutsu can be done by a trained practitioner (this is recommended for beginners) or as a self help technique. It does not involve needles, manipulation of muscles, massage or use of substances of any sort. The fingertips (over clothing) are placed on designated safety energy locks, to harmonise and restore the energy flow. This helps to reduce tension and stress which can easily accumulate through normal daily living.
